This coparenting expense tracker is designed to keep monthly shared costs organized, balanced, and transparent between you and your coparent. As Parent A, you’ll record each expense by writing the company or category, the total amount, and the percentage each parent is responsible for. The sheet will automatically calculate how much each of you owes. When a payment is made, simply check off the box under the appropriate parent’s column to mark it as paid. The top section of each monthly sheet automatically updates totals, tracks remaining balances, and carries over any unpaid amounts to the next month.
The Yearly Summary tab pulls those monthly totals together, giving both parents a clear overview of progress throughout the year. It displays each month’s paid and owed amounts for Parent A and Parent B, along with easy-to-read charts that visualize payment completion percentages. These visuals make it simple to see at a glance which months are fully paid and where any balances remain. Each section also includes space for notes, so you can document important updates or agreements as the year goes on. Together, the monthly and yearly pages provide a complete, transparent record of shared financial responsibilities over time.
